I remember when they kept me in the hospital overnight after I had a WART removed from my wrist. (1970s). Last year, they shoved me out the door four hours after taking a saw, hammer and chisels to my leg. Between what I pay and what my employer pays, my insurance costs around $1100 a month. Then, I pay again in the form of copays and deductibles that added up to a couple grand.......in the name of
saving me money..
But, yeah......Conservatives tell us we have it SO great. Tell us they're saving us money because national healthcare would mean higher taxes. Absurd premiums, deductibles and copays for something I can lose at the drop of a hat vs. higher taxes for something I cannot lose until I die........ Do you see my point, Ike?
