Redistricting affects House of Representatives, not Senators. To fix Senate, we need to 'redistrict' the country. Divide up high-population blue states! There are several candidates besides California. Each time you do it, that's two more senators! Sheesh, Long Island is bigger than Rhode Island, and has lots more people than Wyoming.
It's a time-honored practice. Why do you think North and South Dakota exist? Nevada was admitted when practically no one lived there. All 'pack-the-Senate' moves.
