How is that more satisfying than just acknowledging that Trump lost and moving on? I have voted for the losing candidate in many, many races over the years, but my disappointment never turned into a stolen election fantasy. Even when the true election results were suppressed and flipped the result (Bush v Gore), I simply acknowledged that the rules were followed and moved on, preferring to focus on next time.

That is how you do things in a Democracy. Insisting that the election was stolen because that's what you want to believe, that just plants the seeds of ruination for the future. Why do you want to do that?
People always want to believe lies that unify their side. Some do it more than others though.
