ahh... the sound of backpedaling on a sunday morning..

I don't know how you can say that calling someone a "whore" is in some way NOT making an argument against them. There is nothing wrong with having strong feelings against her, I myself think she is an idiot. There are, however, much more intelligent ways of "providing evidence" of these feelings. Discuss her politics, her speeches (if you can call them that), or her ideas.

As far as "take it for what it is"... I don't engage in double talk... I take people and their words at face value. Calling someone a "whore" is not to be taken lightly, unless, of course, they are one. Your attitude of calling someone names because you do not agree with them harkens back to third grade, when calling someone a "stupid-head" or "dumb-dumb" was a guaranteed argument-ender.

I wonder if you would use that kind of talk in front of your children, if you have any. Further, I wonder if you had a son, would you teach him that it's ok to call a woman a whore, and then tell others to "take it for what it is"

You were right about one thing, though...
