Same as any Mexican or Guatemalan or what have you. I've watched mi hermanos/as take over the building trades here in SoCal in the last 40 years and you know what? They earned it. They will outwork your's and my lily white asses hands down. Day after day, week after week because they want the American Dream. Just like any other immigrant.
Thing is, you don't get to pull the ladder up after yourselves. This country is great because of immigrants not in spite of them.
