YOU made the point, not Trump, by linking to a NBC news article from back in February, not to any comments Trump made today or yesterday, that an Obama-era EO would was nixed by Trump. That EO would have:
...added people receiving Social Security checks for mental illnesses and people deemed unfit to handle their own financial affairs to the national background check database.
As I pointed out, there's no evidence to suggest that either of those scenarios would have applied to Devin Patrick Kelley. So, the question, why post it in this thread? Simple question, seems like it shouldn't require more than a simple answer.
Oh, there's also no evidence that Kelley used a bump stock. Not sure why you're bringing that up.

I never once said that the EO would have specifically prevented these murders, dimwit. I said that your Dear Leader was very quick to blame (undiagnosed) mental illness (while dismissing guns as an contributing factor) just months after shitcanning an EO that would have kept tens of thousands of mentally ill from getting guns.
The point of the bump stock and Terrorist Watch List references were equally clear - Trump and the GOP simply don't want to do anything about gun violence. They'll blame mental illness or terrorism for gun violence (or bump stocks for the horrific body count in Vegas), but won't do anything to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill or terrorists or to outlaw bump stocks.
You truly are a mental midget, Whell, willing to parrot any ridiculous or inane right-wing talking points. You're hopelessly ignorant, just like your Dear Leader. Little wonder you'll defend anything and everything that moron does.
