I spend a fair amount of time in West Virginia hiking, camping and sightseeing and it's pretty ironic frequently seeing the Confederate flag flying in a state that was created by breaking off from Virginia in 1863 in order to join the fight
against the Confederacy. If this alone isn't evidence enough that the Confederate flag represents racism instead of "heritage," I don't know what is. Dumb asses.
