This issue was that there was no condemnation of hate against the very groups that came to Charlottesville to provoke a reaction and that Trump himself has breathed new life into (and who serve on his White House staff). His "many sides" ad lib showed his desire to equivocate to give the neo-Nazis the ability to claim that they weren't criticized by Trump (this is exactly what happened on The Daily Stormer a couple of days ago and by Richard Spencer yesterday).
