Your false equivalency is ridiculous because Russia was actively trying to influence the American election while recruiting witting or unwitting participants in this effort (e.g., Flynn, Kushner, Page). Furthermore, there are indications that the Trump and Kushner organizations sought and/or received money from Russian banks aligned with Putin and the Kremlin to bail out failing real estate deals.
