No, Republican operatives have convinced a sizeable chunk of the public that the "lamestream" media does nothing but lie.........and that only right wing outlets can be trusted.
The way it works is as simple as this;
A political party discredits and vilifies the nations established media as "lying press" or in German "Luegenpresse", then establishes it's own propaganda outlets, holding them out as being the sole dispensers of truth.
