The Clinton record on bankruptcy reform bills:

1. She opposed the bill that President Clinton killed with a pocket veto in Dec. 2000.
2. She voted for a version with some liberalizing amendments in Mar. 2001. House passed a version without amendments. Versions were not reconciled, bill died.
3. She opposed the bill that lacked similar amendments, that was passed by the Senate and the House, and signed by President Bush in April 2005.

It can be argued that the presence of the liberalizing amendments, which were unacceptable to the House Republicans, killed the bill in 2001, when an unamended version would have become law.
