Quack, quack. Believe it or nutz, of the 25 or so states that allow ownership of Class-3 weapons, about half of them allow them to be used in hunting. If I ever went bear hunting, I think I would want 2 M-60s, & about 10K rounds...I had a chance to buy 2 M-60s when I got the Uzi converted, one was "as new", & the other one was still in cosmoline. The dealer wanted $3500 each for 'em. Shoulda went to the bank & took out a loan, IF you can find a full-auto M-60 nowadays, you're lookin' at a healthy 5 figures for one...If I was to ever lose my senses & wanna sell the Uzi, I MIGHT start entertaining offers pretty far north of $5K...Last M-16 I saw at a gun show was a cool $8500, & that's been 5 years ago, anyway. These guns are literally almost too valuable to shoot...The old 1919 Potato Diggers & certain Tommy guns are that way now. The best part of the Uzi is that its a very robust weapon, nothing much to wear out or break, so I don't worry about that. Haven't shot it in a couple of years, though. Last time I did it was w/a buddy of mine & his 14 yr old son, the kid couldn't have had a bigger grin on his face after shooting it than if we'd fixed him up w/Hannah Montana... That grin on that boy's face made it all worthwhile for me...
