That's one of the cool things about morels. they are very distinctive, nothing else looks like them. Anyone can gather them safely (assuming someone isn't lurking around who regards the patch as
theirs....)
Hey, what am I saying? That thing in the picture is VERY POISONOUS. Leave them be, and if they are within a hundred miles or so of Dayton, call me and I'll dispose of them safely!
