You don't want to be caught shooting down a drone. One of a number of ideas that occurs to me is attacking the drone with a garden hose. Hitting it with a hose would make a prima face case that the drone was too low, and would probably encourage the operator to fly away quickly, since it would both fuck up his view of things, and threaten damage to his precious machine....

I live in a subdivision inside the city limits.
I don't anticipate any problems with drones or 15 foot snakes.
The biggest wildlife I've seen in the yard was a small tortoise maybe 8 inches long. I don't bother it and it doesn't bother me.
