Some history, Erricson provided the Saudi telephone equipment but Bell Canada International was contracted to set up the day to day running because we were (still are I guess) the most efficient telephone company in the world.
Our people over there were told that on the day of public execution it would be wise to stay inside the hotel or compound. They said that feelings tended to run high on those days.
When I was asked if I wanted to go over there for a stint I said Hell No. I figured with my mouth I would be in trouble from the getgo.
