Well, you did not ask me but I do know the answer and beating the crap out of a kid is not the most successful path and certainly deserves no praise in deed.
I know many who lived in the worst of the worst.
BTW beating a kid like this does not necessarily negate they turn out "bad" it simply does not improve the odds.
