Yes, $1.19 for two pieces of chicken, that's pretty good. If the average customer also buys a drink for $1.00 and a side for $1.50, you get a total of $3.69. That means this dim bulb served food to about 108 people. Let's say the average order was for two people, so that's 54 cash register transactions without putting any money away. The last ten or twenty customers would witness a cash drawer opening, where they could quickly assess how deep the stack of $20's was. She's basically asking to get robbed at that point.

54 cash register transactions at the least. Not considering credit card transactions, let's say each transaction takes about 3 minutes. That's roughly 3 hours without making a cash drop. And, as I already pointed out, they were not busy at all by the time the gunman entered.
