Pretty typical that some in this forum would turn this into a story about class warfare, about how "society" is somehow at fault for his plight, and how his job sucks because it doesn't pay him enough.
The same crowd pushing the class warfare angle has to ignore a whole lot: like the fact that the city where this guy lives has no job because the economic conditions have been devastated by years of mis-management, graft and corruption. They ignore that the economy in this state is rebounding, but fell far behind the rest of the nation years ago and still has a ways to go. They ignore that the folks who are reaching out to help this guy are mostly average folks who happen to have big hearts. They ignore the fact that Robertson actually likes his job and therefore hasn't missed a day of work, and is someone who is trying hard to do the right thing in an environment where there are plenty of incentives not to.
