In my hometown, it's shifted from jobs in the steel and automotive industries to jobs in the meth-lab and corrections industries.
I hear this is the (similar) case in hundreds of small town across America.
We should be happy that deindustrialization has saved us so much money and rescued millions from a life of toiling away in factories, shouldn't we?
