If you really think about it no one on the Police Department has really contradicted the story being told by the eyewitnesses. No incident report, no formal explanation on what happened other than Wilson's testimony in the "secret grand jury", parts of which favorable to him have been leaked. So at best Wilson will not be prosecuted and you will just have to choose which side you believe. And if the records remain secret ( I do not know if these grand jury proceedings are subject to Freedom Of Information Act laws) then it is over.

Once I read or heard someone say that the police are just evidence that society is basically corrupt on some level...in other words if all of us were good people we would not need them. I guess we do need them to put murderers and rapists and other miscreants behind bars but I come to realize that for the most part they only arrive after the damage is done and clean up the mess.

There are just too many weapons out there....no wonder the police are starting to look like the military because most of them are probably afraid with all of these open carry laws being passed. Then add that mixture in with racial tension on top of it and soon or later a powder keg is going to erupt. And whether or not Brown deserved what he got it is obvious some communities are very angry about the way they are treated by law enforcement.
