An Ebola only hospital is no longer doing neurosurgery, cardio/vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery...or any of the other complicated and expensive procedures that earn the big money for any hospital. I don't want my hospital losing money. It has nothing to do with mistakes made that get health workers infected...it has to do with the bottom line. If that's not what one is thinking about as a member of a hospital board of directors, one doesn't belong on a hospital board of directors.

But, But the CDC director Dr. Thomas "Big Gulp" Frieden says any hospital with an intensive care unit and isolation facilities could handle a patient with Ebola. More restrictive facilities are only needed for airborne pathogens...
And he vowed "We’re stopping it in its tracks" !!!
