Really? Sounds like you're equating a lil' bit of cultural discrimination during WWI with rightwing nutjobs murdering Sikhs at their church services and various other incidents. There were more than just a few incidents of mayhem and murder against muslims after 9/11/ but hey, at least we didn't go all Russian on them and exhort everyone to commit pogroms on 7/11 shopkeepers, eh.
BTW we kept our German surname but gramps was convinced that the higher ups in the AAC kept him from flying against the Boche on the western front because of it.
