Kind of a nostalgia thing to see the old clothing styles, furniture, cars, etc. It brings back memories of my childhood. But whenever there is black person depicted in one of them I have to turn my eyes away. It makes me cringe to see the types of roles they got back then. It's embarrassing to watch. Try it sometime. See how racist our society was in a time that is still well within the memory of many of us.

In the 70's I used to love that movie. I watch it today and cringe..... Just one example but I see your point clearly.
