My wife could tell you what abusive parents are like- broken bones, swung around by your hair and tossed into walls, left alone at home for days, etc. I have no idea. My parents were loving, caring, nurturing people who did it right.
Not that I care what you think.

Look...you were the one who came out here challenging TJ's depiction of some sick old man who would drag his kid out back and beat his ass so bad he couldn't sit down for a week. And now you're pissing and moaning about getting an argument about it. Tough shit...you dealt this hand, play it...you bought the ticket, take the ride without whining about it for christ's sake.
The amazing thing about all this is that in this thread, for the first time in history, you and I are pretty much on the same side of an argument...save your screwy parenting model. He who paid attention to his old man, or his older neighborhood mentor guy and don't act like a fucking idiot with the police will have a significantly better chance of survival, regardless of his color. If the kid had been tazed and beaten within an inch of his life for jumping a cop, we'd still have every neighborhood political group in Ferguson screaming bloody murder, and half this forum bleating about how we've become a police state.
