It's hardly dumb because you say it's dumb. Actually, it's a brilliant analogy* the illustrates clearly, to anyone with both heart and brain, how off-the-beam it is to argue that criticism of inequality is born of 'envy.' But you are missing both requisites, I fear.
Of course, the truth is you're afraid to try to engage in actual argument, you know you're not equipped to do it.
