That's where you're wrong. Guarantees come from someone or something willing to enforce them.
You can believe people have 'natural rights' all day, and you can even be right, but belief, and being right, guarantee nothing.
What we are 'guaranteed' is whatever rights others feel they 'have' to respect. Your best bet is if they are 'guaranteed' by a non-corrupt legal system, that will back up your rights with armed force, if necessary. But of course, legal systems deal with civil rights. They do not enforce or guarantee natural rights, except as they have been made into civil rights.
