Thing is, and a former General (On CNN) just said what I was thinking; Whether Bergdahl is a deserter or not really doesn't make much difference. They would have gone after him anyways, even if it was just to arrest him and send him to court marshal. That would have happened under any C-in-C. The only thing that truly makes it controversial is that the president painted this clown as a hero in the Rose Garden, in front of the whole world. He shouldn't have done that.
