I do disagree with Ike, however, in that I think the BLM was wise to withdraw. The best estimate of the situation was that at least one of the hundreds of nut job "militiamen" on the scene (thousands by their own estimate) would have become trigger-happy. That would have required an armed response from the BLM rangers. There would then have been a genuine firefight.
The "patriots" on the far right have enough "martyrs" already. We don't need another "real American" blowing things up and killing hundreds if innocents as "revenge for the Bunkerville Massacre".
