All pollsters do polling for hire. Sheesh! I'm not making any assertions about Research 2000 beyond the fact that, unlike Rasmussen, they don't have a reputation for biased polling.

You know, you're gonna believe what you want and, clearly, what you want to believe is that Scott Rasmussen is a non-partisan objective pollster when, in fact, he's a Republican consultant and operative who denies those associations even though they're a matter of public record.

As for Wikipedia, there was a citation for the information about Rasmussen's political consulting work. Here's the original.

If you feel like it why not Google "Rasmussen Republican Bias" and see what you get. Do the same for Research 2000.
