I my opinion this woman got apruptly into panic, for what mental reason ever, a loud crying baby behind her. Certainly she had mental problems but this is no reason to shoot her. Now you guys say, it was not visible who was in the car, how much danger could probably have been in that car. This is absolutely correct - but if the car cannot move anymore and it is surrounded by hundreds of police officers you got any any time you need to get the person out of the car, you just have to wait in a safe distance. A baby lost his mother.
Americans love to shoot Americans - and 7,5 billion Non-Americans do not understand this. Sorry for this sarcasm. It is just because I love this country anyway, each of my posts in this forum is a confession of this sentiment for this country.

It's fair to say SOME Americans love the idea of shooting people (the targets don't have to be American). There's a testosterone-fueled sentiment I call the 'conservative death wish,' since I see it predominately in persons of conservative personality. They eagerly advocate the death of any persons they can conceivably justify killing (eg, home invaders), regard any avoidance of the death penalty as incomprehensible and actively evil, and shout 'die' as the desired outcome to a case of uninsured medical need. Don't know what the source of this 'death wish' is, but I doubt that it is geographical.
As for the situation at the Capotol--do you KNOW the car was surrounded by
"hundreds of police officers," or is that just how you imagine the situation? I can easily imagine a moving car being pursued, and only a few officers being on hand when it came to a stop. And the apparent aggression of the driver, coupled with the proximity to the Capitol, prompting swift action to end the incident.
It is not fair to say " she had mental problems but this is no reason to shoot her." No one is suggesting her mental problems were a reason to shoot her. Vehicular aggression against the White House, officers attempting to arrest her, and the Capitol were the reasons to shoot her.
