The time frame you specified is a perfect fit so I could blame it on the Republican governor and the Republicans in the legislature who to a person refuse to vote anything but "no" on fiscal matters where our constitution requires a super-majority. That means nothing can pass.
I won't though because it's not that simple. Of course, the fact that we're no worse off than many other places in the country is worthy of consideration too.
Now, I'll get to the real point of my post. I made a good humored reply to your post about Perot, citing something you yourself had brought up only a day or so ago about the lax enforcement of voting laws in your state. I even put in a smiley as an aid to the cognitively impaired.
On the other hand, your reply lacked any pretense of good humor and introduced rather impertinent and gratuitous insults to
my state. Finally, your "Pedro" comment added an element of racism into the exchange which I find offensive.
