Changed the front end steering, new inner/outer tie rod ends and sleeves, drag link, idler. No ball on the pit so it's not a wear part. The inners were truly bad, the idler loose, the drag not loose but not tight either. It's WAY better, nice and tight, and I can forget about it for a number of years.
The exhaust manifold still leaks, it must have a crack, I'll change it to a cast one. The wire on the o2 sensor is off! I changed it before the echeck and it was fine when I did the manifold gasket, it might have been broken internally. Changing that and the EGR tonight then off to echeck in the AM.

Does it cool if you run a hot to the compressor from the battery?
If it does, why not just fuse the new wire & control it with a toggle switch under the dash? Provided the idle isn't too low since the computer doesn't know the airco is running.
