Please do not take this as an insult, but are you kidding? You are essentially talking about a public option, that very well could become a single payer plan. That is unless I completely misunderstand what you are saying. If I don't misunderstand, we have found something that we could agree on whole-heartedly. I would be absolutely ecstatic to see that proposal implemented.

I can see how you as a small business owner would find this beneficial. I expect that you would like to see your employees have health insurance coverage, but as a small business owner myself, I see what a huge chunk of our income goes into paying insurance premiums.
