That conversation took place after Zippy exited his car. Before that, the kid walked up to George's vehicle and asked "Why are you following me?" George didn't even bother to identify himself as a neighborhood watch volunteer which would have ended this whole fiasco and Trayvon would be deciding who to take to the prom instead of dead.
