One of my longtime clients. Her Mom is getting up there, 87 years old. We have been upgrading the old homestead for eventual sale and the speakers have to go. I was tracking down an electrical problem in the old doorbell system, so I crawled into the attic and saw these boxes mounted into the wall with a level control mounted on an Altec faceplate.
I climbed back out and removed the grill. Voila! Altec duplex drivers!
The next question out of my piehole was where are the amps? Alas, long gone. Thrown in the trash.
