The tech that sat across from me at Eaton built the first Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) that the military now uses. That was a fun program, too. He got to ride around in Humvees when they first came out and I got to ride around in semis that shifted themselves. Those were good times.

The other big program at the time was the Supercharger for the Ford Thunderbird. Those guys left a lot a burned rubber in the parking lots.
