What hate? What did he say that expressed hatred? Of anyone?

He does care about them. Frankly, so should you.

So, he "expressed hatred" to establish a "connection to them"? He was talking to a conference of black clergymen. Doesn't get much more hateful than that, does it?

In what way is he not like them? They're Americans. Is the President not American? (Yes, I know. Kenyan soci@list Muslim.) They're Christians. Is the President not a Christian? They're black. Is the President not black?

Again, where was the "hate"? Your obvious preoccupation with hate in a speech devoid of it strongly suggests that the only hatred is coming from you. Whom do you hate? The President? Ministers? Black people? All of the above?

You on the right don't value academic accomplishment? Santorum certainly thinks you don't - and you shouldn't, calling anyone who does a "snob" and, by characterizing the left as "the smart ones" clearly believes that you are not. Apparently, ignorance and stupidity are virtues in your world. (I've long suspected as much so it was gratifying to have Santorum confirm it for me.)

you articulated everything I wanted to say but I didn't have the patience to type it all out on my phone.
