In Arkansas I can walk into a guns show and walk out with an AK47 in 15 minutes. Hop on my hawg, strap the gun onto the gun rack then, with no helmet on, ride off into the sunset and it is all legal. If I get caught not wearing a seat belt it is a hefty fine.
I am by no means anti seat belt. I have used them my whole life. My dads 1958 SAAB 93B GT had lap belts and shoulder straps. Damn I wish I still had that car. Jay Leno just paid a fortune for one.
