Why would a Bain inverstor have knowledge of Romney's personal returns. Further, if it was someone that was privy to that information, then wouldn't it breach confidentiality and professional ethics?
Romney has not exactly been hiding during the last decade. He's been in the public spotlight and has had long term political aspirations. Do you really think his returns have some nefarious content? Given Obama's penchant for insinuating or manufacturing innuendo/dirt on previous political opponents, it's reasonable not to give him complicated tax returns to use as a club.

Mainly because Mitts Dad advocated and actually did release a dozen years of tax returns. The other reason is Mitt is running on his business experience. I think it's a valid question. In light of Mitt's tax reform plan which the Brookings Institute says will raise taxes on 95% of us and lower the rate on the top earning 5% of us is another justification.
Obama's not touting his grades and I can't think of any other candidate who has released theirs, right or left. Yeah, I'm biased but aren't we all in one way or another.
What will come out probably is Mitt has paid far less percentage wise that the average taxpayer. I doubt that it's zero but nothing would surprise me from this guy. Who knows maybe he did pull down a GE year or two and bragged about it to an investor. Correct me if I'm wrong but an investor wouldn't be bound by professional ethics or confidentiality.
I just can't believe he rose to Harry's bait. He looks the idiot ultra rich frat boy every time he opens his mouth BH. Were are his advisors? It appears that he won't listen or possibly they are just as much of an amateur as Mitt appears to be. I really don't know and Mitt ain't talkin'
The "unnamed source" gambit? I agree that it is a lowdown tactic but it is straight outta Faux New's playbook used on the birth certificate fake issue. That is the danger in using tactics of that nature, the victim always gets to use it back atcha down the road and no one is going to get too outraged by it's use. . If you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.
