I think it was a miscalculation on the part of the Republican message makers. They were trying to replicate the success of "Hillarycare" but that was only going to be successful as long as Hillarycare never became law and the Republican myths about it not disproved by experience.
I don't like "Pea Packa" (PPACA) though. Just doesn't sound right. It's not as bad as "Lie Heap" though (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program,or LIHEAP).
