I am not neccesarily attempting to argue against Climate Change, but merely to point out that the figure the OP posted in pounds, that made man's contribution appear large, is small relative to the atmosphere. That struck me as similar to what Mann did with his graph, namely, emphasize the magnitude of what he sought to show . Moreover, the system is complex and difficult to accurately model. BTW, the time scale also presents a problem. I'm well aware of the effect of trace gas amounts on changing the system. In the ozone case, there is not another competing gas that contributes significantly to increasing UV levels.
