There is a ton of evidence already despite the Dept of Justice holding back everything they thought would be really incriminating. Holder has been proved to be lying during testimony on some of the evidence he's provided already and now these wiretaps are showing what kind of evidence is likely being held back... evidence which exposes the extent of the cover-up here and not only shows Holder to be completely lying his ass off, but surely could expose the president as having given the ultimate order for the F&F gunwalking which resulted in this border agent being killed with weapons put in the hands of criminals by the US government.

The cover-up being basically handled very clumsily and obviously through the attorney general has certainly made this worse. The degree to which they have been uncooperative serves to underscore this admins attitude towards due process and respect for their respective offices and the American public. Now they are deep into a sea of lies and the president doesn't come out looking good no matter which way this turns now. Continued stonewalling is really their only choice now, but more evidence (like the wiretaps) is going to start coming out now as people are becoming extremely fed up and this goes beyind politics. A smart and less aloof admin would have had Holder take the fall a year ago and try to get the buck to stop there in hopes that they might have been able to head off an investigation which got far beyond the AG. It would seem that they deemed containing this would be impossible as the links to the president couldn't be covered up simply by having Holder take the blame here.
Who knows what they are really thinking.. for the samrtest liberal to ever live, this Obama has himself leading a three ring circus of bumbling idiots who haven't even learned that telling the truth and taking your medicine early is surely the only way to go... unless you've been very, very, very bad... enough so that the consequences spell your end.
