It was great!!! Never even saw a stinking deer.
The only tragedy was when my buddies stupid little dog ran across my fishing pole and hooked itself in the nose. It was fortunate that the barb of the hook was still exposed, it made extraction pretty painless. This mutt has a history of eating the bait, knocking over tackle boxes, spilling the beer, and snapping at baited hooks. And it didn't allow taking a hook in it's nose to change it's behavior in the least.
Dumbest animal I've ever seen.
The chuck eyes were perfect, and I even won a couple of bucks in the poker game. All in all, a perfect beer season.
