Some days I miss living on the outskirts of the National Swamp, aka Washington D.C. ;)

That would be awesome to see. I lived in DC for 20 years - don't miss it one bit. Went back recently - never thought the beltway could be worse - it is.
BWI used to be the sneaky way to fly out - no more - and the BW parkway a total clusterf*&k.

Flew out of BWI for the last time in 1980. Now I'm living in the Libertarian 'Promised Land', Orange county, California. Somebody has to keep an eye on these malcontents and ne'er do wells.

Alas, I suspect Dana Rohrabacher is roundfiling all my letters to my congresscritter these days. :(

At least you still know what a letter is and how to write one.

I was considering going downtown for the flyover, but couldn't talk myself into the hassle. I have seen similar shows at the airstrip in Frederick, MD a few times. Cool stuff. I heard one of the planes had mechanical problems and had to land at National Airport.
