Ike surely you know by now that women are subordinate? Look at the marriage vows "Serve and obey" or what the Church tells them "Women subordinate yourselves to your husbands".

But as George Orwell might have said, "All women are created subservient, but some women are more subservient than others."

Clearly some significantly more than others. This shit is no different from David Koresh having a cue of 14 year old girls waiting to be raped. Handing a 14 year old daughter over to some 40 year old guy to improve your family's "reputation and honor"? I say, fuck your religious freedom if that's how you or any of the various levels of orthodoxy in your religion are going to use it.

Buddha and Jesus and other are crying for their ideas, corrupted by crazy alpha males.

I don't disagree, however there are plenty of mothers, many probably victims themselves, who fall tight in line with this. Some likely conditioned. Others simply passively watching what rolled over them, rolling downhill onto their own daughters. Still others as invested in the reputation and honor bullshit as their abusive husbands.

But the historical corruption of religions like the Islam, Christianity etc. was made exclusively by males. As far as I know.

The Christanity WAS great! If I think of the Ten Commandments or the Sermon of the Mountain - these things belong to the most precious spiritual parts of the heritage of the human race. But then some assholes fucked up and made Christianity a lunatic asylum - headquarter in Rome.

OMG!! I actually agree with Ike on this. In fact, the submissiveness of many women has become so prevalent that many don't even notice that they are being talked down to or expected to be submissive. For example.... A woman allowing others, (even loved ones who claim it is an endearment)to call them demeaning names such as "the little woman" or "the blonde" is acceptance of their inferior position in relationships and their life.

Which is why I always refer to Florence by name and also why there was none of that 'serve and obey' BS in our wedding vows. We made exactly the same vows, only the names were changed.

There is an old Jewish saying;

I wanted a friend, a lover, a partner not a female servant.

As far as the blonde is concerned you don't know a fucking thing about the blonde. Including how she would kick my ass, your ass, or anybody else's ass that suggested an endearment she enjoys puts her in an inferior position to anybody.

And OMG you agree with me? I suspect you agree with me quite often, but you have some blip that would somehow cause you to feel it would put you in some sort of inferior position to admit it.

And you mis-state what I believe is the most important point I was attempting to make. To many of these ultra-religious women it's not about submissiveness at all. They are just as invested in the "family honor" bullshit as their husbands, and just as actively participatory in the abuse. Suggesting that they're operating out of some conditioned submissiveness is letting them off the hook for what they fully participate in doing to their daughters. Providing them with any sort of excuse is something I will not do. They are not passively sitting around, privately bemoaning the fate that has befallen their daughters. At the very least it's, "...when I was your age it was my turn, now it's your turn." Yeh...well they're worse than the men in my book.

I think this was a test.
