Mission accomplished?
If you've got a hour or so give these an eyeball.
This: https://news.vice.com/video/afghanis...nd-full-length Leads to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvil...MfCgdxJtshvRZ- Heartbreaking and worrisome. While watching the second one there were a few times I thought about the Jews. Pete |

Heartbreaking and worrisome? This is a sick joke, right?
What we knew before Bush and his bosses Rumsfeld and Cheney decided to democratize Iraq in 2003, was that Iraq, and most of the Islamic middle east for that matter, has a history of at least 15 centuries of tribal and Islamic sectarian murder and mayhem. But were they gonna pay any attention? Nope...they had a Presidential legacy to establish after 9/11, and an imperial presidency to develop. But Obama derangement syndrome is so much easier and more fun. The Jews of Israel know how to handle this. It's this country that doesn't know what the fuck it's doing. And IMO it's not as much a problem with radical sects as it is with mainstream Muslims who won't speak up. When you leave your balls in your other pants, the sociopaths will take over. It took WWII for the Germans to learn the same lesson. Like Tonio K says, "They put Hitler in the driver's seat and looked the other way." So they'll put ISIS, Hamas and Hezbollah in the driver's seat, and blame it all on the Jews. |
Nice try, but ISIL and Afghanistan are Obama's problems. Unless the argument goes that he's completely meaningless.

The only thing I question about Afghanistan is why TF we have any personnel there anymore at all. Of course I don't believe that would be the nature of your beef with Obama regarding Afghanistan. Certainly not if you're any sort of decent conservative. US personnel still at risk there notwithstanding, he's clearly abandoned the people of Afghanistan. Just like he completely abandoned the people of Iraq, what with finally following Bush's lead and considering the mission having been accomplished. But again, I suspect a decent con like you figures we should have our people at risk for the next three or four decades in Iraq...when what it will actually take is a couple hundred thousand troops there for the next 15 centuries. And if we did that, within 6 months of the pull-out in 3515 the Muslim sects there will be slaughtering each other once again, just like they are now. It's what they do. (And just for shits and giggles, slaughtering anybody else who's available along the way whenever the opportunity arises.) So PFFFffffffftttttt......nice try yourself. |
