Independent Scotland

Referendum's been and gone but the way things are going here there could be another one soon with or without Westminster's 'permission'.

Believe it or not prior to the last referendum the "better together" campainers thought about having people standing along the top of Hadrian's Wall holding hands. Coconut Shy anyone?

Hell of a generalised question but would the USA be bothered one way or the other? Might not be too chufed about Tridents leaving Faslane (Scotland) but I've been told Portsmouth (England) would welcome them with open arms. Lots of jobs..................

Boo Hoo. I think there's a spellchecker somewhere here but I'm having an attack of the stupids; can't find it.

I bet that a number of US politicians would make various noises in favor of David Cameron, but most Americans could care less one way or the other. For that matter, most Americans couldn't find Scotland on the map.

But we all know Willie the Groundskeeper.

The thought of the UK breaking up makes me sad after a fashion. That said, the parades I saw in Hartlepool end with a bunch of drunken young men dressed as 'savages' - Scots, war paint and all. I don't know if that irritates the Scots or not though.

'Hooray for us, fuck you,' seems to be one of the more persistent human values.

No. As I understand it, from my dad whose father came here from Scotland, Scots revel in being considered barbaric. Especially those crazy Picts.
