We're fracking the hell out of the Barnett Shale down here.

That's not good.

Short term economic gain in exchange for shiting in your own mess kit.

I believe it is a pact with the devil.

There is a loop hole in the energy laws which says that the frackers do not
have to reveal what chemicals they inject in the underground.

The energy boys under son Bush made up their own energy policy - ENERGY POLICY ACT 2005 - included the clause which gave frackers exemption from certain requirements of the SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT.

Efforts to repeal this exemption has been unsuccessful.

Freaking fracking has actually benefited regular folks. Hopefully it's not a disaster.
