"Former Iowa state senator pleads guilty in Ron Paul endorsement-for-pay scheme" WaPo
Doing the dirty in Iowa. Buying and selling endorsements.

Amazing that you could get $73,000 for switching between two candidates that had absolutely no chance (Bachmann and Ron Paul). The price tag probably gets a lot higher for meaningful candidates.

I always thought the older Paul was just showboating and not really serious as a viable alternative.
Seems he is like everyone else. At least Nader ran even though he made Gore lose Texas. Paul is just another long term politician doing stuff everyone else does. |
The dude who was allegedly doing the bribing is managing another higher profile campaign. Mitch McConnell.

This is not happening. Republicans are squeaky clean, God fearing angels of virtue, full of nothing but purity and honor. They cannot possibly do such things.
At least that's what they tell me. Yeah, I think they're full of shit too. Dave |
