But the GOP is too dumb, stubborn and nativist to do anything about it.

Watch out, Former Gov. Jeb Bush is fluent in Spanish.

That, the fact that his wife was born in Mexico, and the fact that he's a reasonable guy will all but disqualify him in the GOP primary. His surname is also like a lead weight tied around his ankle.

Don't count him out.

Jeb Bush is a very dangerous man.

I was a state employee while he was governor of Florida.

He is nothing like George.

He's smart, articulate, and charismatic.

He's economic agenda is every bit as radical as Paul Ryans, but he is clever enough to go about advancing it in a very subtle way.

That makes him much more dangerous than the Ted Cruz or Paul Ryan types that are prone to self destruction.

Why on Earth would they have a vote on Obama's Dream Act executive order?
Duh

it is like they are living in an alternate universe. Perhaps they know they have lost 2016 already and just are concerned about the short-term future. I guess they think they have to have the House at all costs.

Just a cheap shot IMO. Both are meaningless bills designed to be DOA since the senate would not even take them up before the recess with time running out. Here is one comment by a FL congressman.

Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.), who represents a Miami-area district packed with immigrants from across Latin America, said that he and other moderates in similar districts planned to vote against the bill, “but I don’t criticize folks for being concerned about the president overstepping his constitutional boundary.”

“Most of the conservatives who have a problem [with DACA] have more of a problem with how the president did it than what the president did,” Diaz-Balart said.

Exactly. (in bolded)
Nothing more than a coward's bloody rag to wave in their 'bagger supporters beet red faces when they get back to their home district town hall meetings in August.
